Finessing ferns

After my gelli printing yesterday, today was all about the bracken I used to print with.  I really wanted to get started on the fabric prints, so I did a sample with an extra single layer print.  I layered it up with felt and free machined a fern/bracken frond over the top.

I was very pleased with this and thought I might do an organza applique of the same frond on one of the other prints.  I was really pleased when I turned it over...

and saw this texture on the felt.  I know I want to include this somehow.  What do you think?
