Tiny tea

I missed posting yesterday, because I had an exciting delivery.
More later on that, but I did get a little done.
My stitched squares for AEDM.

And I also did these bees today at quit group.

They are on one of my crazy quilt blocks for CQJP.  I am a few months behind after my awful winter! But I am catching up.

My teacup for today.  It's a very blurry picture, isn't it?  That is because this tea cup is less than an inch high!  And the reason I am showing this tea cup?  Because the delivery I go yesterday was most of the furniture and things for a doll's house my husband is building for me!  So I haven't been playing truant, I have been playing with doll's houses!.

Going crazy

Two finishes

As I said yesterday, I finished my Tangled Textiles piece.  I am adding the same post here, but do go over and look at some of the work the others have done, it's great!
But before that, I will show you my (very late) block for february for CQJP2014

As you all know, my piece for Tangled Textiles was about Vincent van Gogh.
It all started with some sunflower prints...

What else comes to mind when you think of sunflowers and art.

CQJP2014 January

I have just finished this in time for the end of the month.

I have sent it to the Crazy Quilt journal project 2014 blog and it will go up there soon, I expect.  I have enjoyed finishing this block and have used a few different things I like.  The butterfly is actually a felt scrapbooking element and the tiny doily is one I tatted.  I have actually cheated in one area and used free motion.  I wonder if anyone can spot it?
I love embroidery, but I get bored with large areas of the same thing, so this project is great for that, and for satisfying my need for embellishments of all types.  I can pick it up and just do half an hour here and there and it slowly builds up to something really complex.
Now on to February's block......
